Endpoint Protection Standard

The Endpoint Protection Standard was a collaborative effort among College IT groups, OIT, others; which resulted in 08.00.18 (EPS).

EPS defines security requirements for all university-owned or non-university-owned endpoints that connect to the university network and access/store university data.

Its objective is to help protect university data and to comply with regulatory and university requirements.
All university endpoints must be registered with an NCSU-approved Configuration Management System (CMS) and configured/installed with the appropriate Endpoint-security controls.
